It's so much better for the baby. I wonder if it was bacteria building up and growing in the diapers? I would add a splash of bleach to the washer when you wash them. Smell is usually caused by bacteria or sweat, or sometimes both. I don't know if they sell bleach at the natural food store, but it would be worth looking.
